Last weekend of May

The riding months have flown by us and the temperatures are already starting to hit the triple digits. There is still some good riding ahead of us though. This coming weekend the following Las Vegas motorcycle events are taking place.

1st Annual Women's Only Ride : The name says it all. This is a women only ride sponsored and starting at Henderson Harley-Davidson at 8:00am.

6th Annual "Holy Thunder" Poker Run : is being sponsored by the Soldiers For Jesus M.C.. The ride will start at the Leather Headquarters on 4245 Boulder Hwy at 8:00am.

1st Annual Bike Show Contest : Is being held at the Indian Springs Casino and starts at 10:00am.

If you happen to be near St. George, UT., Zion Harley-Davidson in connection with Bikers Against Child Abuse are putting on the Bikers Against Child Abuse Blues and BBQ.

... and as always the Mr. D's Bike Night is Saturday night and on Sunday is the Tequila Cantina Bike Night.

The American Bikers Aimed Toward Education (A.B.A.T.E.) meeting is this Tuesday ar Mr. D's. ABATE helps stops unnecessary legislation that restricts our right to ride free. They need your support and you need theirs!

Additional Two events this weekend

The state of Nevada H.O.G. Rally starts today. Registration will be at Henderson Harley-Davidson from 6pm to 8pm, they are also hosting the Early Bird Party from 7pm to 9pm.

Saturday, May 16th is the Viva Las Vegas Ride 4 Autism poker run. Registration for this event is at Las Vegas Harley-Davidson on Eastern starting at 9:00am.

On Sunday the 4th Annual Hog Wild for Kids Ride takes place. Registration will be at Hogs & Heifers from 8:00 am to 10:00am.

Nevada State H.O.G. Rally

Double D Ride for Motorcycle Safety and Public Awareness

The Double D Ride for Motorcycle Safety and Public Awareness is coming this weekend. Please plan to attend and show your support for fallen bikers and a great cause to raise public awareness.

What : Double D Ride for Motorcycle Safety and Public Awareness

Who : All motorcycle riders regardless of brand. All who wish to honor their fallen biker.

When : Saturday, May 9th, 2009 Registration 9:00am to 10:15am / Ride at 10:30am

More Information :  Ride is designed to increase motorcycle safety and public awareness for all and to honor fallen bikers.

Carey Hart Ride to Wasted Space

This just in from Hogs & Heifers: 

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. The weather was great wasn't it?!   

We are now the starting point for a new event with Carey Hart of Wasted Space "THURSDAY NIGHT RIDE".....the RIDE will start here at Hogs & Heifers at 6:00pm which we will have a special $2.00 off any drink for people participating in the ride ONLY and we'll have some fun door prizes to give away. You will then ride with Carey to Wasted Space at 8:30pm to enjoy some live music and other dibotcheries. 

I also have word that the first Thursday of every month starting in June, the ride will be a poker run!! I don't have all the details yet but will pass them along as soon as I get them! Sounds like lots of fun though!
