We are having trouble moving the tickets due to the overall down swing in time, $100 bucks is a lot, even for charity, so this is what is happening, each ticket is still a $100 each, but if you buy 2 (two) then you get the 3rd free, that's right free.  But here is the big kicker, we were trying to sell 2500 total tickets which put the odds of winning a prizes valued over $250 at 100:1, it has been decided that the break even point for us will be 900 tickets, that way the odd at this point have moved to something like 18:1, that really changes things, we need you help, please help us raise some money for the kids, again thanks 

 

Hey Everybody, 

As most of you know, I have been involved with a group named PORK . First off, PORK stands for Police Officers Riding (4) Kids, and we are coming up to our 12th year of raising money for kids locally.  We are a 501c (non-profit) and everything that we have been able to raise in the past 11 years has gone to the kids   in the Las Vegas valley.  During the past, we have supported the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation.  This year we are trying to step it up a bit and have added a second charity and invited the Families for Effective Autism Treatment or FEAT.   This years PORK Run is scheduled for 10-10-10, that is October 10th and we are planning a great ride and all of the information can now be found on line at "pork4kids.org" .  We have also added a way for those of you who are out of town a way to donate to our cause if you feel you want to and can afford to help out.  We also have a way for local groups to collect money and win a private cabana for the after run party.  Everything can be found on our website  pork4kids.org   or contact any of us if you have any questions or concerns.  

One more thing to tell you about this year, we will be having the Inaugural Charity Raffle this year.  Working with FEAT and HEAT (a local group of firefighters who raise money for kids) we are selling 2500 tickets at $100 a piece, and with the grand prizes being a custom Sik-n-Twisted Show Psycle, valued over $100,000 and second grand prize a 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, valued over $47,000.  These two along with 23 other desirable prizes gives you odds of 1:100 in winning a prizes values over $250.  there is more info on the web site or you can contact me for tickets or any info.  We need your help is making this a great run and getting all of our raffle tickets sold.  Please check put our website for photos and more information.
