Thunder on the Mountain 2009 will be rolling into the rolling into the ski resort town of Brian Head, UT on July 17th & 18th. This will be the 12th year for this great Motorcycle Rally, Poker Run and Party. There is not a better setting for this event that is attended annually by over 700 motorcycle enthusiast from Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, California, and places unknown. If you are looking for a way to beat the summer heat, meet some friendly folks; enjoy a relaxed party atmosphere, take an awesome ride through southern Utah Color Country, and eat some great food this is the place to be.
The event starts at 4pm on Friday afternoon with a Meet & Greet gathering at the host hotel, Cedar Breaks Lodge. The band will crank things up in the private club starting at 9pm. Saturday morning there is a Pancake, Egg & Sausage Breakfast, then an awesome 165 mile Poker Run including a lunch stop through some of the most beautiful country in the southwest. Upon your return to Brian Head you can relax, listen to some live music, enjoy a beverage, eat the best Steak and Chicken Barbecue cooked by Larry Hughes and his crew, check out the Bike Games and have a chance a winning some Great Prizes.
We have ride pins for the first 500 registered, pre-registration is recommended. There are Cash Prizes for the high and low hands, cash prizes and Trophies for bike game winners, Door Prizes and a grand door prize of a 4 Day Mexico Cruise For Two.
The rally benefits the Brian Head Volunteer Fire Department and their charities.
